WODCON XVIII

Salem Republic Rubber Company a member of the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting Rubber Dredge Hose Pipe and Dredge Pipe Couplings at WODCON XVIII.

This international dredging exhibition and meeting of the World Dredging Congress will be held from May 27th through June 1st at the Buena Vista Resort, Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida USA.

SRR personnel will be available in booth #404 at WODCON. The exhibition is open to all members of WEDA (Western Dredging Association), CEDA (Central Dredging Association) and EADA (Eastern Dredging Association).

Salem-Republic Rubber Company received a patent for LCD™ technology. LCD is an acronym for Low Coefficient of Drag. Receiving this patent was the result of three years of engineering development spearheaded by Roger Payne, Director of Engineering and Don McCaughtry, Vice President of Operations.

Originally designed for jet air start scuffers to alleviate worker fatigue and wear on jet air hose assemblies, this breakthrough technology has led to additional applications in an exciting new array of products.

LCD™ Glide-Flex is the culmination of LCD, 30 years of hose technology excellence and some exciting new twists.

Salem-Republic's first Glide-Flex product was gasoline drop hose. SRR attended the Petroleum Equipment Institute Show in Houston and the National Tank Transport Show in Chicago. The response was phenomenal! The hose has passed in-service testing in several markets. It has been particularly well received in cold weather markets where its superior flexibility and ease of handling has proven it to be a huge winner!

The company is currently developing LCD™ Glide-Flex versions for petroleum transfer, food and chemical applications. The possibilities are endless! Do you have an application that requires high flexibility, involves operator handling or requires high abrasion resistance and low dragging friction?

Commercial Dock Fenders

Salem-Republic Rubber Company began manufacturing commercial fenders up to 54" O.D. The company is capable of up to 42" I.D. and 50' lengths depending on wall thickness. We are currently prototyping center chain fenders and would love to quote your fender requirements.
