Salem-Republic Helps Restore Homeworth’s Antique Fire Truck
A quick shout out to our Salem-Republic team for helping out the Homeworth Volunteer Fire Department! The Homeworth team in charge of the Model ‘A’ antique fire truck were having trouble sourcing replacement suction hoses for their working parade truck. Our Maintenance Supervisor, Scott Hawk, along with our Operations Director, Terry Nespeca, Factory Supervisor Jesse Shreve and several others, took the initiative to help them out! Not only were we able to build and donate the hoses, but we were able to sandblast, clean and paint the hose fittings in time for their next parade!! Community service is a large part of our tradition here at SRR and we were honored to be part of the solution for the Homeworth Fire Department!!
