Salem-Republic's dual-helix reinforced smooth bore Vol-U-Flex® hose for vacuum loader use represents state-of-the-art design. Fabricated for ease of handling and economical extended service life in the most severe line and port hose service. Salem-Republic also offers hand-made custom fabrications of varying length, cover, carcass and tube materials for handling dry and wet materials including oils, slurries, etc.

Vol-U-Flex® High Vacuum Efficiency Port Hose features a tough, smooth bore lining and corrugated cover construction. Standard lengths are available for every port and boom hookup. This hose is specially designed for permanent truck mounting and to absorb the abuse and road stress of highway travel.

Vol-U-Flex® Heavy-Duty Line Hose features the same rugged wear-resistant profile as the port hose, plus an extra degree of flexibility to resist kinking. When you pull up to a spill....railroad derailment or factory site, Salem-Republic's Line Hose helps you hook up the longest rigid tubing-and-hose runs...gives you the elbows for around bends..up and down grades, and provides a whip end connection easy to handle.

Multi-ply high tensile synthetic fabric assures lasting high flexural strength at all normal operating temperatures (-40F through 180F).

Cover

Super weathering compound resists ozone, abrasion, and aging. Deep corrugations assure superior flexing for handling.

Double-Helix Wire Reinforcement

Vol-U-Flex® Line and Port Hose feature a double-helix spring-steel wire reinforcement encapsulated in a continuous bridge of rubber for tough, long-life service. This unique Salem-Republic feature greatly extends hose life at a cost comparable to what you would expect to pay for conventional constructions.

Cor-U-Flex Leaf Collector Hose

These large-diameter constructions produced with over 30 years of proven reliability are corrugated inside and out. They are extremely flexible for their multi-ply strength and wire helix reinforced. Outstanding for leaf collection, scavenger, and catch basin service, Cor-U-Flex hose assures easy all-temperature handling due to its unique deep-corrugation flexibility. Custom compounds for special applications and special sizes are available.

Salem-Republic uses multi-ply high tensile woven polyester fabric with a spring steel wire helix for best flexural ability and ease of handling and long life.

Cover

Black abrasive-resistant neoprene cover provides excellent resistance to weathering, oil, and ozone

Ends

Straight soft cuffs are standard to simplify installation.
